The first portion of this gallery contains images of locations in the LaHave area followed by images created at The Ovens Natural Park. The LaHave community is about a 40 minute drive from Lunenburg. The Lahave Islands are a small group of islands about a 15 minute drive south of LaHave. Some islands are linked by road from the mainland. The area is know as a good kayaking location and there are "Glamping" facilities available. The Ovens Natural Park is about a 30 minute drive from Lunenburg. The park has beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, hiking trails along the cliffs, sea caves or "ovens", a restaurant and a camping area.
