Trees are a beautiful subject to photograph from the first buds of spring to the beautiful colours in the summer and fall and to the snow covered branches in the winter. Trees are sacred and a vital part of our world for survival. Trees provide oxygen to enable us to breath, they clean the air, they help buffer noise pollution, they provide shade to cool our streets, cities and our homes which saves money on energy costs, they slow water runoff, they prevent soil erosion, they provide windbreaks, they provide shelter for wildlife and some medicines are derived from trees.
