Sharing my creative visions with others, the excitement of travelling to a distant location, admiring the magic and beauty of nature and it’s many species, watching the sunrise and sunset, admiring sunlight and the way it highlights and hugs shapes and textures, admiring expansive views of large bodies of water, watching wildlife hunt for food and feed their young, hearing the sounds of nature while walking a park trail early in the morning, absorbing the peace and quiet in large open spaces and in small isolated spaces, exploring a busy city and feeling it’s vibrant energy, appreciating the designs, shapes and details of architecture, watching city building lights glow in the deep blue sky at dusk, capturing action images of subjects in motion, being outdoors in fresh air, street photography, photographing people and meeting other photographers are just some of the reasons why I’m so passionate about photography.

I was born in Toronto and have always resided in the area and over several years I’ve observed this area grow and develop into the thriving area it is today. I've photographed a variety of subjects at local and distant locations but plan to travel to distant locations much more often.

While working full time in the city planning and urban design fields I occasionally provided wedding and portrait photography services for many years. I enjoy music very much and create audio-visual shows containing a variety of my images. My audio-visual shows have been presented at private functions and camera club meetings.

Images I’ve created have been published in City of Etobicoke Annual Reports, Business and Finance magazine, City of Etobicoke Business Directory, Financial Times of Canada newspaper, Canadian Architect, City of Mississauga Community Services events brochure, Skydome calendar, a book titled "Like No Other in The World: The Story of Toronto's SkyDome", a Bid Book for the Toronto Ontario Olympic Council and a minicard for the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area (Minicards Canada). Images I’ve produced have been included in the following City of Toronto publications:  City Planning Annual Reports, Toronto Plan - A Land Use Strategy for Toronto, Toronto Plan Directions Report, City Centre West Secondary Plan Directions Report, Toronto’s Downtown Heritage (brochure), Toronto Heritage Grant Program (postcards), Toronto Parks and Trails Map, Toronto Cycling Map, City Planning Strategic Plan, Tall Building Design Guidelines, Toronto Recycling Calendar and Guide, Toronto’s Graffiti Transformation Program (brochure), Chief Planner Roundtable - volume 1, Feeling Congested?  and a Toronto Recycling and Garbage Collection calendar.

I've participated in photography exhibitions at the Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery, Montgomery's Inn Community Room Gallery, Peel County Restaurant Gallery, Mississauga Living Arts Centre Gallery and the Areej Artists Centre.  I look forward to exhibiting my photography at more galleries for group and solo exhibitions.

Being a member of the Etobicoke Camera Club for many years increased my interest, passion and knowledge of photography. I completed several photography courses from the Humber College Continuing Education program and over several years I've attended many photography seminars and workshops. I'm a member of the Mississauga Camera Club and recently served seven consecutive years on the Board of Directors while also being the Director of Program. I've won several awards from camera club photo competitions in various genres of photography. I'm inspired often when viewing the many amazing images created by camera club members and our guest presenters.

Technology keeps improving creative opportunities and I continue to learn about photography, software and image editing. Photos are what I create with a camera, images are what I produce after I refine and improve the photos using Photoshop and other software. Through photography I hope my images will inspire others to reach a deeper appreciation of nature, structures, locations and much more. Creating an exceptional image of a moment in time of a unique or beautiful subject creates a special feeling and I look forward to creating many more images to achieve that satisfaction. I welcome you to explore my photographic creations by viewing my galleries and I hope many images create a special feeling for you as well.
