Toronto Skyline

Toronto has one of the most beautiful and recognizable skylines in the world. I started photographing the skyline in 1989 when SkyDome construction was completed. The CN Tower has dominated the skyline since 1976 but the strong architectural design of SkyDome (later named Rogers Centre) added a significant impact to the appearance of Toronto's skyline. My favorite view of the skyline is from Centre Island and I return there occasionally to photograph the changes in development.  I've also photographed the skyline from Wards Island, Polson Pier, Riverdale Park East, Humber Bay Park, Colonel Samuel Smith Park and from areas in Mississauga. The file numbers in this gallery also include the year the photo was created. Hover over image for file number and description, click on image to enlarge.
