Newfoundland 3

This gallery contains images of St. John's, Cape Spear and Quidi Vidi. St. John's is the capitol of Newfoundland and Labrador province, Canada's oldest city and the most easterly city in North America. St. John's is a key hub for the province's economy and serves as a vital service centre for the off-shore oil and gas industry, has an advanced container terminal and is one of the largest fish-handling ports in the province. Cape Spear is a national historic site known for its historic lighthouse, its role in the Second World War and for being the farthest eastern point of land in North America. Quidi Vidi is a charming small village just outside St. John's. Signal Hill provides excellent views of the St. John's skyline and St. John's Harbour. Hover over image for file number and description, click on image to enlarge.
